Secured frontier acreage before any basin discoveries were made. Led two farm-out transactions and brought in 2 supermajor partners (ExxonMobil & TotalEnergies). Earned $100M+ in lease bonuses and ~$350M in drilling and seismic carries.
Led discovery of over 300 MMbbl of oil and over 2 Tcf of natural gas. Led development to 50,000 bbl/d to establish the basin as a producing area. Added billions of dollars in value to the operator's balance sheet.
Developed prospects across a 200K+ acre Permian position. Secured a supermajor to drive ~$60M in lease bonuses and negotiated a multi-well drilling carry worth an additional ~$60M.
Recognized early the Wolfcamp trend from Midland to Delaware. Helped clients secure strategic acreage ahead of broader activity. Position was ultimately monetized at approximately a 10x return.
Led identification and drilling of a ~19,500 ft. wildcat well. Discovery flowed approximately ~15 MMcf/day of natural gas. Extended the proven producing trend into a new productive fairway.
Identified multi-zone redevelopment in a basin long thought depleted. Wells currently flowing ~2,000 BOE/day. Asset now supports Dolomite's founding ORRI position (Smackover & Haynesville).
